Edit Mode lets you precisely edit individual elements in your generated designs. Instead of making broad changes to entire screens in the main design mode, edit mode lets you select specific components—buttons, headings, images, cards, or sections—and modify them using just prompts. It's your tool for surgical precision when refining your generated designs.
This mode is essential for fine-tuning your generated designs. While Moonchild's initial generations are impressive, you'll often want to adjust specific details to match your exact vision or brand guidelines. Maybe a button needs different wording, a heading should be a different color, or an image needs more padding. Edit Mode lets you make these precise adjustments without regenerating the entire screen.
Click the Select button in the top-right corner of your interface to activate this mode. Once activated, you can click any element on your screen to select it for editing. The selected element is highlighted in the prompt input field with its name, indicating it's ready for modification. From there, you can use the prompt input field to make precise changes to that specific element—adjusting text, colours, spacing, size, or any other property.
The beauty of this approach lies in its efficiency and context. You can select elements directly on your design, see exactly what you're changing, and use natural language to describe modifications. Changes apply instantly, letting you iterate rapidly until every element is exactly right.
