Congratulations! You made it into Moonchild; now it’s time to generate your first design.

This guide walks you through the complete process, from entering your prompt to generating your first design and refining it to your preferred design taste. Let’s get started

Entering your prompt

1. Start by creating a new project, then locate the prompt input field at the top of the screen.
2. Type a clear description of what you want to create, for example, “a modern dashboard for a fitness app with charts and user stats." You can also upload a PRD or an image of what you want for reference. You can learn best practices to effectively prompt Moonchild AI to learn how to prompt better.
3. You can also add a design system for consistent results across all screens. Not sure how to create a design system in Moonchild? You can learn more here.
4. Select a quality model—Gold or Silver. Gold is chosen by default. Not sure which to choose? Learn more about them here.
5. Once you’ve entered your prompt and set your preferences, click the “create design” button.
6. Moonchild AI processes your request and generates three unique design iterations, which usually take 10-15 seconds.

Editing generated screens

After Moonchild generates your designs, take time to review each one carefully.

You can double-click on each design to view it in detail or click ‘prototype’ in the bottom panel to enter prototype mode, where you can view the full design and interact with it.

When you’ve found your preferred design, click it to add it to the chat in the left panel.

After selecting your design, you can then prompt Moonchild on the specific changes to make. Don’t worry about making the perfect choice; you can always generate or request modifications later.
